The work will focus on planning and monitoring the implementation of government-selected development projects (pilot phases with evaluation, possible corrective actions and implementation management), starting with strengthening the capacities of communities to participate and ensure the accountability of their governments in order to contribute to a better allocation of resources according to priorities, improved governance and the strengthening of democracy
The training workshop will be in a free, non-academic format through an inclusive approach to inductive and deductive learning. The moderators composed of Alumni and some consultants will be able to organize the exchanges and the speeches of the participants.
Presentations will be made on different themes followed by sessions to share practical experiences. There will also be group work, particularly for associative leadership and group dynamics. There will be a reflection on the definition of the strategy for the restitution of the concepts acquired by the participants within their community.
The project is based on several modalities for achieving results. Training is central in that it aims to provide the young people concerned with the knowledge, skills and tools to enable them to play their full role as citizens of this nation.
This leadership must produce young Togolese people capable of innovating in an inclusive, participatory and sustainable context; young Togolese people capable of thinking for themselves and transforming their living environment through business actions necessary for the development of their community.
On the basis of these fundamental values, which Togolese society will progress on the horizon. The cardinal values will be promoted by this vision, namely: equality and equity, a system of governance in which young people are involved, a pluralist and egalitarian democracy whose fundamental reference is man shaped by culture and by courageous mobilizing leadership.
This vision concerns the construction of a society of hope, of a change of mentality; peace, non-violence, equality and equity, work, sustainable development and national solidarity.
This project is part of the dynamics of the National Development Plan and is structured around the perspectives of the vision path that advocates on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDOs).
