Noutcha Prudence is a social activist strongly engaged in the advancement of Democracy, Human
rights, Peace and Conflict Prevention in Cameroon. She has been elected as the Female representative of the world youth movement for democracy for Sub-Saharan Africa,she is currently serving as Program Officer to one of
Cameroon’s progressive youth advocacy and pro-democracy groups known as the Network for
Solidarity, Empowerment and Transformation for All (NewSETA), she has rallied young thought
leaders and activists nation-wide in the flagship peace and democracy training series –REPAIR, to
enable them craft forward-looking strategies around the challenges of peace, democracy and youth
leadership in society. Noutcha is a strong supporter of vibrant political engagement amongts youths
and currently champions the “VOTE 18” campaign aimed at reducing the voting age from 20 to 18 in
the Constitution and the Electoral Code to enable young people to participate in the 2018 general
elections in Cameroon.
