I have spent much of the last 35 years in Ladakh, and it has become my second home. From the first year I have been fluent in the local language, and have been able to experience the culture almost from the inside. These experiences have had a profound effect on the way I now see the world.

The benefits of such a move are enormous. It does not mean an end to international trade, but it does mean taking control of giant multinational corporations and requiring them to be place based and accountable to individual nation states
