My name is Tahina RAZAFIMANDANONA; I am a Malagasy young Materials Engineer graduated from the Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique d’Antananarivo, University of Antananarivo. I am 26 years old, born and living here in Madagascar.

I am a striver who is passionate about science, engineering, and finding innovative idea for the sustainable development issues.

I do volunteer works as the Coordinator of a national energy expert platform here in my country called G.R.E (Groupe de Réflexion sur l’Energie >> http://www.gre.mg) and in a Climate Change platform named GT-CC (Groupe Thematique – Changement Climatique).

In 2017, I was granted a Young Leaders Fighting Climate Change training programme given by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Madagascar which has transformed me into an active young climate leader. My journey in the field of climate action has begun after the training.

I am also a Yali RLC SA Alumni as I was selected for a Civic Leadership intensive training in South Africa by YALI RLC SA with the Cohort 11 which has made me much more committed to serve and develop my community, country, the continent of Africa, and the whole World.

I attended a Personal Initiative training in Entrepreneurship, a training given by the move gGmbH Entrepreneurship Institute, which has helped me to forge my innovative entrepreneurial mindset.

I am currently making my project idea work to bring positive change in a worldwide scale. I am willing to persevere in implementing it until I embrace the success in my business. I am someone who is not afraid of rejection as it has forged me along my journey.
