I am a third-year student studying Behavioral Neurosciences and Trauma at the University of British Columbia, Canada. I am the co-founder of World Awareness Initiative, which is a youth-run organization that encourages young leaders to understand the importance of dialogue to create social change. I am also the founder of Period at UBC, which is a chapter of PERIOD. PERIOD is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the menstruation needs of people who are unable to access menstruation products. So far, we have supported 81,000 periods globally by distributing free period products.
