New Opportunity: Forum on ESD and GCED in Vietnam

Education for Sustainable Development

Deadline for applications is by 17 April

UNESCO is organizing a Forum on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and Global Citizenship (GCED) from 2 to 3 July 2019 in Ha Noi, Viet Nam, with the theme “Learning and Teaching for Peaceful and Sustainable Societies: From early childhood to primary and secondary education”.

The participants will include policy-makers, education practitioners and representatives of NGOs, development community and the private sector who are actively working in the areas of GCED and ESD.

Individuals or organizations interested in attending the Forum can submit an Expression of Interest via this FORM.

  3. Learning goes hand in hand with peaceful environment.we need peaceful environment to deliver the message to the learners,we need to raise awareness on sustainable development . People must learn and understand what sustainable development is.
    Please we need this awareness in the whole world in order to overcome the challenges

  4. More focus should be placed in africa. The concept of teaching isn’t exactly standard in africa anymore. But I’m impressed with this initiative.
