Public Voting and Commenting Launched for All

Entrepreneurship Campus

Ideas eligible for votes and comments on May 15th

To all the current and future members of the Entrepreneurship Campus, we are pleased to announce that the public voting and commenting was launched today on May 15 for all the accepted ideas and projects submitted to our competitions.

Remember that the voting and commenting process is between May 15 and August 31st, meanwhile, the due date for submitting an entry to the Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition, Tourism Competition, and the General Competition is July 31st.

The sooner you submit an entry, the more time you’ll have to collect votes for your idea/project.

The number of votes and comments in a given idea is one of the elements that wil

l help to define the finalists. Find here (link) more information on the way how the finalists for each of the categories are selected.

How to Vote

Please note that everyone (members and non-members of the Entrepreneurship Campus) can vote. The only requirement is that the voter must have a valid email address.
When promoting your entry, we suggest you explain how the voting process works. If not, it might happen that your votes don’t complete the process.

If you want to cast a vote, you will need to authenticate yourself with a double opt-in email.

You will insert your email, and a verification URL will be sent to you. After clicking the URL, you’ll have 15 minutes of time to vote for a given idea/project once a day. After this session expires, you can no longer vote, until the upcoming day (24 hours later).

This applies only to the voting process.

How to comment

Like with the voting process, everyone can leave a comment. Non-members of the Campus that want to comment, will be asked to provide their email, name and to verify their email.
Please notice that all the members of the Campus are encouraged to interact with each other in order to improve ideas and projects. Therefore, you are all invited to share only meaningful comments and suggestions that help other contestants to improve their entries. Short comments will not be posted.
Given that “The number of meaningful comments the entrant’s idea/ project has received from the online Entrepreneurship Campus community” is one of the factors that determine the Personal Activity Indicator” algorithm, please don’t copy and paste the same comment.
Please, do not repeat the same comment in different entries as it is not a fair practice. Such comments will not count in the end.
Try to motivate and provide valuable suggestions to the ideas/projects’ owners. Keep in mind our etiquette: ask questions and do not judge, encourage dialogue, do not insult or blame.

Remember! You can submit your idea or project until July 31. Submitting your entry now enhances your chances of being among the finalists. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to Contact Us.

Good Luck to all the contestants,
The Entrepreneurship Campus Team

  20. Hello guys,

I am pleased to be connecting with great minds here! So far, I have read some great ideas that have been presented and I have no doubt, it is interesting and worthy of vote and comment even if it will or might not make the final count in this category. But the best way to encourage such individual for pulling up an impressive concept is to drop a constructive comment or suggestion that will make the person do more. Remember, when you praise or appreciate someone for a job well done, such person will do even more. Moreso, the only way to help ourselves here is by dropping constructive comments, it is not just to be among the finalists only but to help him/her understand that the concepted idea is amazing but he can improve in this way. I appreciate everyone that has commented and voted for my project. But if you haven’t check the next comment for my project link. Cheers!

I remained your new friend, from the West African country, Nigeria.
