Thank You to All of Our CEC Participants!
Published on: 02.11.2020
The Entrepreneurship Campus team and the organizers of the Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition would love to extend sincere gratitude and appreciation for all the contestants, new and old members, and to everyone that was part of the Campus during this edition of the competition.
Your efforts to learn entrepreneurship to improve the lives of people in struggling communities on one hand and human interactions with the environment on the other are admirable. Like in the previous years, even in this edition we have seen great ideas and projects from all over the world.
Even though the first year of the decade was not a good one, it set off alarm bells on both human actions and inactions. For many people around the world, the 2020 health crisis added more burden to their economic and social challenges. Meanwhile, for others living in developed countries, it made it clear that we all are on the same boat when it comes to local human-induced phenomena that pose global threats such as wars, conflicts, extreme poverty and hunger, climate crisis, etc. Moreover, the 2020 crisis highlighted more than ever the need for resilient education and learning. In such a situation, it was heartwarming to see people of different ages eager to learn and provide innovative solutions to existing, new, and expected challenges. We hope that the motivation and determination of social entrepreneurs would trigger action to bring back balance and achieve sustainability in most sectors. Hence it would be possible to close the decade with an accomplished mission, Meet the 2030 Agenda.
We also hope that this thought-provoking and skill developing experience will continue challenging you even though the competition is over.
The finalists of the Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition in the Youth and Adult categories will be announced soon.
Stay tuned and good luck to everyone!

Elections are always personal. One candidate captures your values and your aspirations. The other candidate is an antithesis of your
beliefs and ideals.
To my American friends, I salute you all for heading to the polls.
Regardless of the outcome of tonight’s election, I truly believe that each side wants a better America, and a better world (regardless of
the specifics).
Let’s break bread when this is all over.
