UNESCO Calls on Young People to Join the 2019 Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition
Published on: 29.03.2019
UNESCO encourages young entrepreneurs from all over the world to become part of the Entrepreneurship Campus global community of creative changemakers.
The Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition team is happy that UNESCO shows support by spreading the word with its wide network. This will help to reach out to more young global citizens that have the potential to make the most effective transformation of their communities.
The Entrepreneurship Campus provides access to free entrepreneurial knowledge through online training. Meanwhile, the Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition offers a real taste of the entrepreneurial experience.
“Through the competition process, youth entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to optimize their ideas and develop their enterprise by receiving free online training in entrepreneurship education at the Entrepreneurship Campus and support from the global online community,” UNESCO says.
Co-organized by The Goi Peace Foundation (GAP Key Partner), Stiftung Entrepreneurship and Digital Experts United, the Competition invites young entrepreneurs (age 15-35) from around the world to submit their innovative ideas and projects with a societal impact, which champions and implements one or more of the 17 SDGs.
The Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition is a global program and an online platform to mobilize youth-led innovations for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is an activity within the framework of the UNESCO Global Action Programme (GAP) on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
