Interview with Prof. Guenter Faltin Founder of the Entrepreneurship Foundation

Interview with Prof. Guenter Faltin

"Entrepreneurship is open to almost everybody and it’s not about bookkeeping, accounting, and balance sheets. It’s about ideas, good ideas that you combine in a concept.”

Today we share inspiration and words of wisdom in this interview with the Founder of the Entrepreneurship Foundation, Professor Guenter Faltin*.

Professor Faltin speaks about the main goals of the Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition, the importance of participating in the economic field, how to get started as an entrepreneur, and most importantly, how to use entrepreneurship for improving the quality of people’s lives and the world.
“Entrepreneurship is an excellent chance for almost everybody and now entrepreneurship is for a few privileged people only. We would like to open access to entrepreneurship for many more people. Let’s say entrepreneurship for the many and not for the few. That is why we open it worldwide. Particularly to countries that have not much access to entrepreneurial training and we hope that by providing this platform together with some courses we can help foster entrepreneurship for many more people,” Prof. Faltin highlights.

Thank you prof Guenter and your team for this vision of opening up entrepreneurship opportunities to the entire world and espercially the African society. I am really touched and hope we all are and are ready to ensure this does not end with the 2019/2020 session.

Inspiring speech. Think of what problem(s) you want to solve and profer solution(s). The entrepreneur thinks of innovative ways to bring solutions and to be one, endeavour to be a person of “thought”.

The Founding Fathers of America that lead to the industrial revolution were (Mostly) Entrepreneurs and this is the culture that has evolved for years and years. America today holds one of the strongest economies and the world looks out to them for financial support. If you research properly ideas in Africa are so many and the majority of the world inventions came from Africa. But the main reason why entrepreneurship has taken long to take shape in Africa is that of lack of financial sources to support, the policies that government make are not conducive enough to favor the growth of entrepreneurs hence in the end ideas that could potentially change the world keep dying and dying. Thanks to the Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship for bringing us this platform for us to unite and share ideas for a common cause and that is building a better world. I also urge them to begin connecting innovative entrepreneurs to people that can help fund their projects and ideas for youth in particular.

Empowering message provided by Professor Faltin in this ‘Citizen Entrepreneurship’ video summarized in the article above: let us cultivate ‘entrepreneurship’ around the world and create a global culture for entrepreneurship through entrepreneurship education.

This online Entrepreneurship Campus and Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition are key and powerful tools to make this vision mentioned above a reality.
